Privacy Notice
This site is run by Matthew Pinfield, trading as Agents of Prompt, based in the United Kingdom. I'm the data controller for any personal information you send through it. This notice explains what that is and what happens to it.
01 // What I collect
Only what you choose to send through the contact form: your name, email address, enquiry type and message (including any project brief or audit summary you attach). There are no accounts, no cookies and no analytics or tracking on this site.
02 // Why, and the legal basis
To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is legitimate interests: responding to someone who has contacted me, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
03 // Who else handles it
Web3Forms receives the contact form and forwards it to my inbox. Netlify hosts the site and, like any web host, briefly processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and prevent abuse. If you use the free site audit, the website address you enter is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights, which runs the test; don't enter anything other than a public web address. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. I never sell or share your information for marketing.
04 // How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so I can follow up on the conversation, then deleted. If you become a client, records are kept as long as needed for the work and for legal and accounting purposes.
05 // Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how it's used. Email hello@agentsofprompt.co.uk and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
06 // News headlines
The news feed in the console shows headlines and summaries from the TLDR newsletters, collected by this site's own server about once an hour. Your browser doesn't contact TLDR when you view them.
